讲座内容简介：Recall, that a subgroup H of a group G is called a Hall subgroup, if its index and order are coprime, that is (|H|,|G|/|H|)=1. This is equivalent to say that H is a \pi-group, while its index is not divisible by primes from \pi for appropriate set \pi of primes. In such notation H is called a \pi-Hall subgroup of G. Clearly the notion of \pi-Hall subgroups generalizes the notion of Sylow p-subgroups (they are the same if \pi={p}). However the analogue of Sylow Theorems is not valid for \pi-Hall subgroups in general, so we must consider E_\pi, C_\pi, D_\pi properties instead of E_p, C_p, and D_p Sylow Theorems. We discuss the recent progress and open problems in this direction.
报告人简介： Evgeny . Vdovin 教授于2000年获得俄罗斯科公司数学物理理学博士学位、2007年获得数学物理“科学博士”学位。2001年1月至2001年8月为俄罗斯科公司Sobolev数学研究所研究员，2001年9月至2004年5月在Universty of Padua (Italy)做博士后，现为俄罗斯科公司Sobolev数学研究所副所长、教授、博士生导师，并担任Journal of Algebra and its Applications 、Siberian Math. J.等杂志的编委。
